MICROSOFT 365
Microsoft 365 migration and management, without the disruption
We move your email, files and calendars to Microsoft 365, planned for a weekend or out of hours, so your team starts the next working day with everything in place. Then we look after it, from new starters and licences to Teams and file sharing, from £8.50 per user a month.
Microsoft 365 in brief
Quick answer: Tech Optimised plans and carries out your move to Microsoft 365, from Google Workspace, an older email system or a mix of personal email addresses, then manages it for you each month. Plans start at £8.50 per user a month with a Microsoft 365 Business Basic licence, or £15.50 with Business Standard, and migration projects are quoted up front.
Best for: Businesses of 5 to 100 people moving to Microsoft 365, or already on it and tired of nobody owning it.

Has your business outgrown the way it handles email and files?
Most businesses reach Microsoft 365 the same way. Email started on a mix of personal email addresses or an old hosting package, files live on one person's laptop and three different cloud drives, and nobody can say for certain who still has access to what. It works until someone leaves, a laptop dies or a client asks how their data is protected.
The businesses already on Microsoft 365 often have a different version of the same problem. It was set up once, quickly, and nobody has looked after it since, so licences are paid for people who left months ago and the security settings are still the defaults.
Which Microsoft 365 plan is right for your team?
Both plans include the Microsoft 365 licence and our management of it, with no long contract. Every user gets business email on your own domain, Microsoft Teams for calls, chat and meetings, and 1 TB of OneDrive storage. The difference is whether your team works in the browser or wants the full desktop apps.
Business Basic, at £8.50 per user a month, gives you the web and mobile versions of Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Business Standard, at £15.50 per user a month, adds the desktop versions of Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote (plus Access on PC), which each person can install on 5 PCs or Macs, 5 tablets and 5 phones.
What does managed Microsoft 365 include?
Once you're on Microsoft 365, we look after it as part of your monthly price. That covers adding new starters and removing leavers on the day, managing licences so you only pay for the ones you use, keeping Teams and shared files organised, and answering your team's questions when something in Outlook or OneDrive doesn't behave.
Most clients take Microsoft 365 management as part of managed IT support, so one team looks after the whole setup, alongside business phones and domains.

How long does a Microsoft 365 migration take?
We schedule the move itself for a weekend or out of hours wherever possible, so nobody loses a working day. A small team can be moved in a few hours, and larger teams take a few days, depending on how many people and how much data you have. The planning before it is what keeps it smooth.

Is Microsoft 365 secure out of the box?
Microsoft runs Microsoft 365 from its own secure data centres, with anti-spam and anti-virus filtering, encrypted access to your data and support for multi-factor authentication built in. Several of the most important protections still need switching on and configuring for your business. We set them up during the migration and keep them under review, so your logins, email and files are protected from the first day rather than after a scare. Our guide to Microsoft 365 security explains what those settings do in plain English, and our cyber security page covers how we monitor them.

Work we've done for businesses like yours
When Boys Get Sad Too needed 50 people working from home at short notice, we set up secure remote access and had the whole team working with everything they needed within seven days. Read the remote working case study.
Who is this for?
It suits businesses of 5 to 100 people moving to Microsoft 365 from Google Workspace, an older email host or personal email addresses, and businesses already on Microsoft 365 that want someone to own it properly. If you just need help with a personal or home Microsoft 365 subscription, Microsoft's own support is the right place, and we're not the team for a 500-seat enterprise rollout.
