MANAGED IT SUPPORT

Managed IT support that answers, for one fixed monthly price

We look after IT support, Microsoft 365, phones, domains and email for businesses of up to 100 people, wherever your team works. You get a small senior team who knows your setup, one predictable monthly figure and no long contract.

Managed IT support in brief

Quick answer: Managed IT support from Tech Optimised means one team looks after your helpdesk, devices, Microsoft 365, phones, domains, email and security with support plans from £160 a month including 2 hours of support. We deliver it remotely, so it works the same whether your team sits in one office or across several countries.

Best for: Businesses of 5 to 100 people that want one team for support, Microsoft 365 and phones, and a bill that stays the same each month.

For urgent issues and new enquiries, from someone who already knows your setup.

About a week

To switch provider

Your team keeps working throughout while we deal with your outgoing provider.

Up to 100

Staff supported

Teams of 5 to 100 people, in one office or spread across homes and countries.

Is your current IT provider letting you down?

Most businesses that come to us already pay someone for IT. The trouble is getting hold of them. A laptop that won't start sits in a ticket queue for three days, the invoice carries charges nobody explained, and whoever finally answers has to learn your setup from scratch while your staff wait to get back to work.

The other businesses we hear from have grown past the point where someone in the office does the IT between other jobs. A new starter needs a laptop and accounts on Monday, a phishing email gets through, or the person who knew where the admin passwords were kept hands in their notice, and suddenly nobody owns any of it.

Either way, what fixes it is the same: one team that already knows your setup, answers quickly when you get in touch and charges the same figure every month.

What's included in our managed IT support?

Each service has its own starting price, so you only pay for what your business uses. Our support plans start at £160 a month, which includes 2 hours of support for your team, with any extra time at the same £80 an hour, and everything else is added per user or quoted on what you use. Projects and new equipment are quoted before any work starts, which is how we keep the monthly figure predictable.

If you're paying separate providers for support, Microsoft 365, phones and domains today, the Microsoft 365, business VoIP phone systems and cyber security pages show how each one fits into the same monthly arrangement.

How quickly will we respond?

When something stops your team working, we aim to respond within 1 to 2 hours, and most problems are fixed remotely the same day. You speak to the same small team every time, people who already know your systems, so there's no chatbot to get past and no explaining your setup to a stranger.

How does switching IT provider work?

Switching normally takes about a week and your team keeps working throughout. We handle the conversation with your outgoing provider, so you don't have to chase them for passwords or access.

01

A short call

We talk through your team, the systems you use and what's going wrong with your current support.

02

An audit of your setup

We map your devices, user accounts, Microsoft 365, domains, backups and who holds admin access, and tell you plainly what we find.

03

Handover

We collect admin details, domain control and licence records from your outgoing provider and agree a start date with you.

04

Support begins

From that date your team comes to us, and we work through the issues the audit turned up, starting with anything that puts your data at risk.

How long this takes depends mostly on how well your current setup is documented and how quickly the outgoing provider hands things over. We'll give you a realistic date after the audit.

Can IT support be delivered fully remotely?

Yes, and for most problems it's faster than waiting for a visit. Nearly everything a team of up to 100 people needs, from a locked account to a new starter's laptop, can be set up and fixed remotely, which is why we can support a team spread across offices, homes and countries with the same response.

Every client is supported remotely, which is what keeps our response times short.

What we've done for businesses like yours

We support businesses in FMCG, risk, security, plumbing, investments, software, aviation and marketing. Three examples show what that support looks like when it matters.

When ransomware locked Salentis out of its systems, we isolated the affected machines, restored everything from a clean backup within hours and had the business working again the same day.

Boys Get Sad Too needed 50 people working from home at short notice. We set up secure remote access and had the whole team working within seven days.

After a hard drive failure that recovered only some of its data, Pathway Risk now has backups that run automatically every day and are tested regularly.

Who is managed IT support from Tech Optimised for?

It's for businesses of 5 to 100 people that need technology to work every day and would rather pay one predictable monthly figure than manage several providers. If you already have someone in-house who handles IT, we'll work alongside them, filling gaps, taking overflow and covering when they're away.

It isn't the right fit for enterprises looking for a 500-seat managed service, for home users, or for businesses that only want someone to call for the occasional repair. If that's you, we'd rather say so now.

The people you'll deal with

Tech Optimised is run by its founders, Peter Bright and James Nathan, who look after clients directly. Simon Hammonds, our Head of Sales, brings a legal and cyber security background that shapes how we protect every client's systems. Meet the team.

FAQs

Questions businesses ask before switching

  • Our support plans start at £160 a month, which includes 2 hours of support. Microsoft 365 management starts at £8.50 per user a month including a basic Microsoft 365 licence, VoIP phone systems at £22 per extension a month including 5,000 minutes to UK numbers, and domain and email hosting is priced on what you use. New hardware, licences and projects are quoted separately before any work starts, so the monthly figure doesn't change without warning.

  • No. We work on monthly terms with no lock-in and no exit fees, so you stay because the support is good rather than because a contract says you must.

  • Yes. We often work with someone already handling IT inside the business, filling the gaps, taking the overflow and covering when they're away.

  • Normally about a week. We audit your setup, collect admin access from your outgoing provider and agree a start date, and your team keeps working throughout.

  • For most problems, yes, and it's usually faster than waiting for a visit. It's how we look after every client.

  • In practice, yes. Both mean an outside team takes responsibility for your IT for a monthly fee, rather than you hiring in-house staff or paying for one-off repairs.

Tell us how many people you have, what you use and what's going wrong with your current setup. One of our team will come back to you within 1 to 2 hours with a monthly figure and, if it helps, a 15-minute call to talk it through.

You'll hear back from a named person on our team, not an automated reply. The first call takes about 15 minutes and covers your team, your systems and what you need fixed first.
