BUSINESS PHONE SYSTEMS
Business phone systems that move with your team
We replace your landlines with a VoIP phone system your team can use from a desk phone, a laptop or a mobile, in the office or anywhere else. You keep your numbers, the switch happens without your phones going quiet, and we look after it from £22 per extension a month.
Business phone systems in brief
Quick answer: Tech Optimised sets up and manages VoIP business phone systems, which carry your calls over the internet rather than a copper landline. We move your existing numbers across, set up call routing and voicemail, and support the system each month, from £22 per extension a month, including 5,000 minutes a month to UK numbers. Moving an existing number across is a one-off £36, and there's no contract.
Best for: Businesses of 5 to 100 people still on landlines before the January 2027 switch-off, or with a team spread across offices, homes and countries.

What does the landline switch-off mean for your business?
Openreach is retiring the UK's old analogue phone network on 31 January 2027, so any business still relying on traditional landlines needs to move to a digital system before then. Leave it late and you're choosing a phone system against a deadline, alongside every other business that waited.
For most teams the switch is an improvement rather than a chore. A VoIP system lets your staff answer the main number from a laptop or mobile, transfer calls between offices and homes, and see who called while they were out, which an old landline can't do.
What's included with every extension?
Each extension costs from £22 a month with no contract and no VAT to add, and includes 5,000 minutes a month to UK numbers, which covers most small teams comfortably, and you can buy extra minutes whenever you need them. Porting an existing number is a one-off £36, subject to your current supplier's terms. Services are paid in advance by BACS, credit card or direct debit.
Every extension works on our desktop app, the iOS and Android apps or any SIP desk phone, with secure encrypted calls, conference calling, call recording, voicemail and a company directory.
Phones, IT and Microsoft 365 from one team
Most clients take their phone system as part of managed IT support, so the same people who look after your laptops and Microsoft 365 also look after your calls, with one monthly bill and one team to contact when something isn't working.

How do you move a business to VoIP without losing calls?
We set the new system up alongside your existing lines and only move your numbers across once everything has been tested, so your phones keep ringing throughout.
01
Map your calls
We look at your numbers, who answers what, opening hours and where your team works, and design call routing around how your business actually takes calls.
02
Set up and test
We configure the system, handsets and apps for each person, and test inbound and outbound calls before anything changes.
03
Port your numbers
We arrange the transfer of your existing numbers from your current provider. Porting normally takes about a week.
04
Go live and support
Your numbers switch to the new system, we're on hand while your team settles in, and from then on the phones are part of the support you already get from us.
Porting an existing number is a one-off £36, subject to your current supplier's terms.
Can one phone system work across offices, homes and countries?
Yes. Because VoIP runs over the internet, one system can cover an office, staff working from home and a team abroad, with the same numbers, extensions and call transfers between all of them. It's how we look after every client from one team.

Who is this for?
It suits businesses of 5 to 100 people replacing landlines, outgrowing a basic phone setup or running a team across several locations. It isn't for home phone lines or for large contact centres that need hundreds of agent seats.
The people you'll deal with
Tech Optimised is run by its founders, Peter Bright and James Nathan, who look after clients directly. Simon Hammonds, our Head of Sales, brings a legal and cyber security background that shapes how we protect every client's systems. Meet the team.
FAQs
Questions about switching to VoIP
Yes. We port your existing numbers to the new system for a one-off £36, so customers keep calling the numbers they already know.
No. We build and test the new system alongside your current lines and only move your numbers once it's ready, so calls keep coming through.
Not always. Each extension works on our desktop app, the iOS and Android apps, or any SIP desk phone, so many teams don't need handsets at all. Handsets aren't included in the monthly price, and we can supply them separately for anyone who prefers one.
Calls can be set to divert automatically to mobiles, so customers still reach someone while the connection is restored.
Openreach is retiring the analogue phone network on 31 January 2027, so businesses still on traditional landlines need to move to a digital system before then.
