Cookie Policy

What Cookies Are

Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser. Some are needed for the site to work, and others tell us how people use it. A few of the tools below use your browser's local storage in the same way, so this policy covers that as well.

Cookies That Are Always On

Our website runs on Wix, which sets a small number of essential cookies to keep the site secure and working. They can't be switched off, because the site won't run properly without them, and they aren't used for advertising.

XSRF-TOKEN, TS* and sec-fetch-unsupported (session): protect the site against fraud and attacks.

hs, svSession and wixSession (session to 12 months): keep the site secure, stable and working.

server-session-bind, client-session-bind and oAuthState (session): protect the connections between your browser and the site.

SSR-caching and bSession (24 hours): help pages load quickly and show how well the site is running.

fedops.logger.sessionId (12 months): records errors so they can be fixed.

_wixAB3 (6 months): lets Wix test improvements to its platform.

consent-policy: remembers the choice you made in our cookie banner.

Google Analytics 4

We use Google Analytics 4 to see how many people visit, which pages they read and how they found us. Its cookies are only set once you accept analytics cookies in the banner, and if you decline, they aren't set.

_ga (2 years): lets Google Analytics tell one visitor from another.

_ga_2RX1L4YGW5 (2 years): keeps track of your visit for our Google Analytics property.

Google Analytics is provided by Google. You can read how Google uses this information on its page about how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Google Tag Manager

We use Google Tag Manager to manage the Google tags on our site, including Google Analytics. Google Tag Manager doesn't set cookies of its own. If you accept marketing cookies, the Google tag may also save a value called _gcl_ls in your browser's local storage, which Google uses to measure visits that come from its adverts.

Google Search Console

We use Google Search Console to see how our site appears in Google search results. It works from Google's own search data and doesn't place any cookies in your browser.

Ahrefs Web Analytics

We also use Ahrefs Web Analytics to count visits. It doesn't use cookies and doesn't store IP addresses with its analytics data.

Your Cookie Choices

When you first visit, our cookie banner asks whether you accept functional, analytics and marketing cookies. Essential cookies are always on. The banner is run by Usercentrics, which saves your choice in your browser's local storage (ucData and ucString) so we don't ask again on every page.

You can change your choice at any time using the cookie settings button in the bottom left corner of every page. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings, although blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the site working.

Changes to This Policy

If we add or remove a tool that uses cookies, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
